Have you noticed all the craft breweries popping up? Seems there is a new one every day. Every bar I visit, not that I visit a lot of them, has more draft pulls than Ulysses’ trial of the bow and axes. (Look it up.) It also amazes me how many flavors are available. You can get bourbon barrel, grapefruit, blueberry, and on and on. Why so many flavors? Should we blame Burger King? “Have it your way” or Starbucks?
I grew up sneaking a sip of my dad’s Hudepohl when he was not looking.
“Fillet of a fenny snake, in the cauldron boil and bake;

Even Pabst Blue Ribbon, PBR, is back. Then there are the India Pale Ales, IPAs. I am not a fan of bitter beer. I always tell the bartender, “I like my women bitter, not my beer.” IT’S A JOKE!
Across the pond, they brew a beer as black as the hearts of those witches in Macbeth. It pours r-e-a-l slow and foams barely a bubble. It is thick enough to chew. Personally, if I cannot see through it, I do not drink it!
